Experiencing a loss can be painful to face aloneThe Grief and Recovery Support Group
is offered
free of charge to anyone who would like to talk to others and help one another
get through tough times. 

The Group meets the first and third Wednesday of each month from 7:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
at the Franklin County Home Health office in St. Albans.

RUTLAND AREA VISITING NURSE ASSOCIATION AND HOSPICE

6th Annual Grand Parada: Paradise in the Caribbean

Friday, May 9th

 

Join us for an evening of Island fun! Hosted by the Rutland Health Foundation, the Grand
Parada will feature a Caribbean dinner and dancing to the warm weather sounds of
Burlington’s Mango Jam. Proceeds from the event will benefit RAVNAH’s Pediatric
 Hi-Tech program, the Diabetes Program at Rutland Regional Medical Center,
and staff education at the Community Care Network.

 

A highlight of the evening includes a raffle for a 5-day and 4-night trip to Antigua, as
well as otherexciting prizes. Tickets to the Grand Parada are $100 per person, and
the public is invited to attend. Raffle tickets for the Antigua trip are $20 each
or 6 for $100. For reservations, information or to purchase raffle tickets, contact

15th Annual Phone-a-thon

Tuesday, April 8th and Wednesday, April 9th

 

Agency and community volunteers will be asking RAVNAH donors to renew
 their annual support during our annual Phone-a-thon. Each year thousands of
area residents require the services of RAVNAH, and the phone-a-thon
provides an opportunity to acquire financial support for such vital programs
as home care, hospice and maternal child health. If you are interested in
volunteering for the phone-a-thon (from 5-8 p.m. either day), please
contact Randi Cohn at 770-1585, or if you are interested in helping with
RAVNAH’s annual fund in any way, call Bernadette Robin at 747-3634.

 

4th Annual Milky Way Organic Farm Summer Fun Fair

Saturday, June 21st

 

The Milky Way Organic Farm in Ira hosts their annual Summer Fun Fair
 on June 21st. Children’s games and activities, tractor hay rides, a petting zoo,
and food are just some of the fair highlights. Proceeds will benefit RAVNAH’s
programs. Details to follow in local media.

 

20th Annual Killington Pico Rotary Golf Tournament

Wednesday, June 4th

 

Golfers will take to the greens on June 4th at the beautiful Green Mountain
National Golf Course in Killington. Sponsor a hole or form a team to benefit
RAVNAH’s Hospice program which supports terminally ill patients and their families.
The entry fee for each golfer is $75 which includes green fees, a golf cart, a

7th Annual Devil’s Bowl Speedway Benefit

Sunday, August 17th

 

Join us for a night of racing action! The annual Judith L. Richards Memorial Benefit
at Devil’s Bowl Speedway in West Haven, promises to be a fun evening, with all

15th Annual Rutland Health Foundation Golf Invitational

Friday, September 19th

 

One of the area’s most prestigious golf tournaments, this invitational is held
at the Rutland Country Club. The tournament features a captain and crew format,
breakfast, on-course lunch, and an awards reception. Proceeds benefit Kids
on the Move, a pediatric rehabilitation program; Maternal Child Health, a
childbirth education program; and Bridges and Beyond, a volunteer program
providing non-medical in-home support. Call Bernadette Robin at 747-3634
